1.
Old oil is
drained from the regulator and disposed of according to current EPA
Standards.
2.
Regulator is
un-tanked and inspected.
3.
All stationary
contacts, moving contact fingers, sprockets, sleeve bearings, etc.
are
cleaned and inspected
for damage and excessive wear.
Damaged or worn parts are replaced with OEM parts. All new gaskets are
installed to terminal tops, bushings and the
lid.
4.
Each regulator is
baked to remove any moisture.
5.
After baking, the
regulator is re-tanked and filled with NEW NON-PCB mineral
oil.
6.
Control Panel is
cleaned and checked completely to insure proper operation of
the
regulator and the
full functionality of all of the control features. Repairs are made if
necessary.
7.
All windings are
checked with a TTR for proper ratios and a Megger Test Each
regulator goes through a complete high voltage testing procedure
where voltages are read from the source side and the load side of
the regulator to test the operating sequences of the control
panel.
8.
The regulator is
then DOBLE Power Factor Tested to insure the total overall power
factor is under two per-cent (2%) per Doble Engineering
recommended standards.
9.
An Applied
Potential (Hi-Pot) Test is run on the regulator per the original
manufacturer’s specifications to ensure proper insulation and
clearances.
10.
Tank is sanded, cleaned and sprayed with a coat of
primer. Two (2) coats
of Paint
are applied. All of the
appropriate labels and decals are
attached.
